Celebrate

November 5th 2004 was our 27th wedding anniversary. We were very busy so we did not plan anything special or buy each other a gift.... yet when we came home from work we found flowers in the vases! Our cleaning lady had decided without knowing that it was our anniversary, to pick some flowers from our garden and put them in the vase. She had never done this before. It made me think that God had done something special for us to celebrate our marriage.

Our coffee grinder had broken and we needed to get it fixed or buy a new one. It had been a wedding present so I wanted to get it fixed, but never got around to it. One day we decided to go to the local club on Mother's day, which was around the time of both our birthdays. We were given free tickets for the raffle as we entered. One of the prizes was a coffee grinder....and you can guess what happened! We won it. On many of our birthdays we have visited the club and each time we have won prizes including money with our free door ticket. It makes us feel like God has celebrated our birthdays and given us a birthday present too for "Every good and perfect gift comes from God.".
