Miracle

"Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again." Luke 6:38

In the early '80's I started a Christian Pre-school as there were none in the area where I lived. People were very keen to see one open. it wasn't long before all the things I needed, I was able to buy or was given, including a grant from the Methodist Church and books from the Christian Book shop. It wasn't long either, before there was a long waiting list for people wanting to enrol their children. It was one of the first centers to be licenced under a new government scheme for child care centers and I received a small contibution towards costs. Fity percent of that money I had to take as taxable income. I had some jars of glitter that I avoided letting the children use as it was a reasonably expensive item. Finally I decided to let the children use it. When we came to clean up I was able to fill the glitter jar, pressing the glitter down, with all that was left over. It was a good lesson. It reminded me of the woman and the oil jar that never ran out until the drought ended.
